At Foxar Athon, good design is not just about making a website look polished. It is about helping users understand what a business offers, find what they need and take the next step with confidence.
We’re looking for a UI/UX Designer who can translate business objectives, user needs and content requirements into thoughtful digital experiences.
If you enjoy simplifying complex information, building clear user journeys and designing interfaces that balance usability, brand and conversion, we’d love to meet you.
Understand each client’s business, target audience, website objectives and desired user actions before beginning the design process.
Translate project briefs, content and business requirements into clear information architecture, page structures and user flows.
Develop sitemaps, wireframes and interactive prototypes to communicate how users will navigate and interact with the website.
Design responsive website interfaces for desktop, tablet and mobile using clear visual hierarchy, thoughtful layouts and consistent design systems.
Simplify complex services, products and information so users can understand them without unnecessary friction.
Create landing pages and conversion journeys that guide users toward enquiries, registrations, purchases or other defined actions.
Build and maintain reusable components, design systems, style guides and interface patterns to improve consistency and production efficiency.
Collaborate with strategists, copywriters, developers, designers and project coordinators throughout the project lifecycle.
Prepare organised design files, component states, annotations and development-ready handovers.
Review implemented pages and work with developers to resolve visual, responsive and usability inconsistencies.
Improve existing websites by identifying gaps in navigation, hierarchy, accessibility, usability and conversion flow.
Apply insights from completed projects to strengthen future design processes, templates and internal standards.
Strong proficiency in Figma, including components, variants, Auto Layout and prototyping.
Good understanding of UX principles, user journeys, information architecture and interaction design.
Strong visual design fundamentals, including typography, spacing, hierarchy, colour and layout.
Experience designing responsive websites, landing pages or digital platforms.
Ability to turn written content and requirements into structured page experiences.
Understanding of developer handover and practical front-end implementation constraints.
Familiarity with accessibility, usability and conversion-focused design principles.
Experience with Shopify, WordPress or other content management systems is an advantage.
Basic understanding of HTML and CSS is an advantage.
Experience using AI-assisted research, ideation or productivity tools is an advantage.
We care less about designers who only make interfaces look attractive.
We care more about designers who:
Understand the problem before designing the screen.
Ask what the user needs to know and do next.
Build structure before adding visual treatment.
Explain the reasoning behind design decisions.
Balance user needs with business objectives.
Consider content, responsiveness and development constraints.
Maintain consistency across every page and component.
Notice friction before it becomes a usability problem.
Accept feedback without losing ownership of the outcome.
Improve the system, not just the individual screen.
Naturally organise complex information into clear journeys.
Enjoy understanding how users think and behave.
Can move confidently from sitemap to wireframe, interface and prototype.
Care about both visual craft and practical usability.
Think about mobile behaviour from the beginning.
Enjoy working closely with content, strategy and development teams.
Notice inconsistencies in spacing, components and interaction patterns.
Can explain why a design works, not only how it looks.
Believe every completed project should strengthen the next design system.
Prefer designing without understanding the content or business objective.
Focus mainly on visual trends while overlooking usability.
Depend on complete instructions for every layout and interaction.
Avoid feedback, iteration or collaborative problem-solving.
Design only for desktop and treat mobile as a later adjustment.
Deliver disorganised files that are difficult for developers to implement.
Lose interest when a project requires detailed revisions or quality checks.
Treat every page as a separate artwork instead of part of a connected experience.
At Foxar Athon, UI/UX design connects strategy, content, technology and business growth.
Our clients often operate in complex B2B industries. The designer’s role is to make those businesses easier to understand, easier to navigate and easier to engage with.
You’ll work across different industries, collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and help shape digital experiences from initial structure through final implementation.
